3 Monkeyland Films Headed to Toronto FIlm Festival

Mixing began today on the feature films "Everthing Must Go", and "Dirty Girl", both set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival Next Month. Directed by Dan Rush, EMG stars Will Ferrell and screens in the Special Presentations Category. "Dirty Girl" stars Juno Temple, Milla Jovovich, William H. Macy and Dwight Yoakam and premieres as part of the Discovery Series.

Also screening at the festival is "Kaboom", Gregg Araki's latest feature which premiered earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival. Monkeyland is proud to have done the Sound Design, Editorial and Mixing on all three films.

Busy Summer on the Indie Front

Monkeyland has been busy this summer providing sound design, editorial and mixing on a number of projects.

Indie films recently mixed here include "The Bad Penny", "818", "Haunted Changi", "Highland Park", "Gun" and the animated feature "Animen". 

Meanwhile, sound design and editorial has begun on the features "Losing Control", "A Buddy Story", and "The Devil Inside".

Paramount's "Pretty Bird" out on DVD today!

"Pretty Bird", starring Paul Giamatti and Billy Crudup is being released today on DVD by Paramount Home Entertainment. The film premiered at the 2008 Sundace Film Festival where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize in the Dramatic competition.
