Monkeyland Editors/Mixers nominated for CAS/MPSE Awards

Congratulations to our talented Mixers and Editors who have been nominated for 2 CAS awards and 1 MPSE award. "Space Chimps 2: Zartog Strikes Back" and "Lost Boys: The Thirst" were both nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for DVD Original Programming. "Lost Boys: The Thirst" was also nominated by the MPSE for Best Sound Editing: Direct To Video- Live Action.

Complete post sound editorial and mixing for both films were completed at Monkeyland.

The awards will be presented February 19th (CAS) and February 20th (MPSE).

"The Heart Specialist" opens in theaters nationwide today

The Heart Specialist opens on over 400 screens nationwide today. Directed by Dennis Cooper, film has an amazing cast including Zoe Saldana, Wood Harris, Brian White, Marla Gibbs and Method Man. Enjoy!

Busy Fall of Mixing & ADR

 Feature films recently completed mixing at Monkeyland include "Flying Lessons", "A Good Funeral", "Losing Control", "Joint Body", "1000 Years of Thang Long" and the latest Warren Miller Documentary "Wintervention".

 Recent actors in keeping our ADR stages busy include Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell, Jenna Dewan, Chris Kattan, Haylie Duff, Hal Holbrook and Maggie Grace.
